Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s fifth single features “WanteD! WanteD!,” a newly written opening theme for the drama “Bokutachi ga Yarimashita,” which began airing on the Kantele and Fuji TV network on July 18, 2017.

Adapted from the manga of the same name, the series follows four ordinary young men whose revenge plan spirals into a major incident, leaving them pursued as suspects in a bombing. Blending coming-of-age drama with a tense fugitive thriller, it features Masataka Kubota and Mei Nagano, alongside Mackenyu, Shotaro Mamiya, Shūno Hayama, Hiroki Konno, Rina Kawaei, Sae Okazaki, Itsuji Itao, Ikue Sakakibara, Asami Mizukawa, Shohei Miura, and Arata Furuta.

Beloved by a new generation of listeners, Mrs. GREEN APPLE wrote “WanteD! WanteD!” after reading the original manga. With its exhilarating pace, the track is a standout tune perfectly suited to the drama’s opening chase sequences.

The single also includes “On My MiND,” the opening theme for the anime series “Nana Maru San Batsu,” which aired on Nippon TV and other networks. Rounding out the three-track release is a full-band arrangement of “Hikarinouta,” a song that made a strong impression on fans when the band performed it as an acoustic solo during their tour late last year.
